Cliff notes: Food was terrific. Staff was amazing. Atmosphere was beyond expectations. Value was unexpectedly reasonable. It's definitely a place I would recommend and return to. We went for an anniversary dinner. We set up a reservation online, and I checked "special occasion" for our anniversary. At minimum, 9 staff members passed our table and wished us a Happy Anniversary. Top notch service going the extra mile. Even a manager, Mike, was fantastic. He wished us a Hapoy Anniversary and brought us glasses of champagne . Brilliant touch of class putting the customer first. Our server, Destiny, was super friendly, very responsive & attentive. She was amazing anticipating our needs and giving recommendations. Top notch. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Comparable to Outback or Olive Garden but much better experience. Atmosphere was very traditional on the exterior. However, upon entering, the bar area was extremely modern and cool. We sat in one of the back rooms, which was much more traditional and quiet. Amazing how they had various rooms and such different themes & sounds.

First time here as we are house shopping. The service was exceptional, food was excellent, everything was very enjoyable. I have a service dog and the waiter never acknowledged that he was there, never made eye contact, and never spoke to him or about him. That is how professionalism is done. Thank you sir and I hope that the gratuity reflected my appreciation for your professionalism.

I’ve been coming to the Villages to visit for over ten years. This Mothers Day was my first time at Legacy and by far the best experience I’ve had anywhere in the Villages. From the hostesses, to waiter, food quality/presentation and beautiful venue... it was a memorable meal! I’ll be back!

What a great experience and amazing food to match! Never have we ever had a steak, so tender! But we think the best thing about it was the service and the Care that our waiter Sureen gave to us. When we first arrived, he introduced us to the restaurant, the highlights on the menu, his favorites, ladies and gentlemen‘s favorites. He paid close attention to what we might like, and gave wonderful suggestions. He was also very polite, attentive, and made the experience wonderful for our wedding anniversary. The gluten-free options were plentiful , and they catered to it. Highly recommend this restaurant, and our waiter, Sureen who was wonderful! It was such a great experience that my husband and I joined the VIP club! Of course, for those of you that follow, photos of food have started to be eaten! Lol

I had a party for my parent’s 65th wedding anniversary. I live in Estero, Florida, so I did not know many restaurants that would accommodate a larger group of people. A friend of my parents recommended the Legacy Restaurant, and I am so grateful. Rosa, the Assistant Administrator, was amazing to work with. She was friendly, kind and kept in constant communication with any question I had. Our server that night, Heather, was outstanding! She went above, and beyond to make sure all of the guests were taking care of and my parents to feel extra special. The food was beyond delicious. I had the chateau Briand, recommended by Rosa. It was outstanding. I highly recommend The Legacy Restaurant at the Nancy Lopez Country Club if you want to experience delicious food, service, and customer service.

What a fun afternoon! Maurice, the Chef, was knowledgeable, entertaining and funny! He did a wonderful job explaining cool things about food as he cooked. Thank you to Denise and the young man that waited on us May 20, they were friendly and very efficient! The meal was outstanding! Honestly, everything was So delicious! I will be back!

We've never had a bad experience! Our favorite special occasion restaurant! There's still a place to put on your Sunday best and enjoy a good meal with your special someone, family and dear friends. Everything on the menu is superb! Make your reservation today! It won't disappoint!

My wife celebrated Valentine’s Day, by enjoying a meal at The Legacy Restaurant in the Villages, Florida. I’ve never seen so many people gathered together in one place for a meal on Valentine’s Day. I consider that a testament to the prestige and quality of this place. In order not to be overly full, my wife and I bypassed the appetizers and salad, and went straight to the entrees. Prior to ordering, they brought out warm bread and a delicious unique herb and mint butter. The bread was good, but could have been a bit more moist. My wife ordered the sauteed Sea Bass, with Rice and Corn Risotto, and sauteed Broccolini, which she said was flavorful and well prepared. I ordered the Seafood Ravioli, which consisted of large cheese stuffed tender ravioli with a rich butter and cheese cream sauce, topped with perfectly steamed shrimp, sublime sauteed scallops, and a juicy and flavorful lobster tail, with a side of warm drawn butter, for dipping. It takes some kind of skill for a Chef to prepare so many different components of a dish and have everything turn out perfectly. We also shared a decadent slice of Cheesecake with flambeed cherries jubilee. One suggestion that I would like to make is for The Legacy Restaurant to consider offering a selection of Non-Alcoholic Wines, for those of us who do not drink alcohol. After 4 million views of my contributions, I was honored to review yet another great restaurant. We will definitely be dining at this place again soon.
